As a child, my grandmother would make salmon patties weekly. I would watch her cook and help her during every meal prep when she would let me. So much of my cooking and baking style comes from her.
growing up she would make salmon patties from canned salmon that still has bone and skin. She would let me crush up the bones with my hands and mix the ingredients before she fried them in oil and served them with ketchup and green beans.
My recipe has not changed much from hers over the years, just some small substitutes that make it keto friendly and delicious.
